My wife Gerri and I were associated with this outstanding gentleman mainly in the Man of Honor Society, however, we did have some special time away from that as well. He was without a doubt the finest Associate Member we ever had since the first day he started his desire to be part of the organization. I had the privilege of writing an article about his great deeds and it was on the front page of the MOH newsletter. (He hollered at me about it every time he saw me because he said he did not deserve the recognition) I always told him I was in charge and that’s the way it is. He laughed of course. I can only say that we are so very sorry for the loss of this fine man and we can only wish the family our very best.

    With Sincere Sympathy

    Dear Kasten Family,
Danny was a friend ever since Zion grade school. Most recently we got together at The Man of Honor Society. Danny always had a smile on his face and something nice to say in spite of all issues. May the Lord bring your family Peace and Comfort during this difficult period. Tom Beese

We were so sorry to hear of Danny’s passing. He was the coolest guy I ever knew. Always fun to be around and thoughtful. When my Mom passed away, he was one of the few friends who made the effort to be there, I am and will always be grateful for that. I loved the times we hunted together and the times we spent at the cabin in Hazelhurst. May our Lord comfort his family, the Kasten family, who are wonderful people and have enriched everyone they touched.
