Beverly Ann Guenther Boneck Murphy, 89, of Apache Junction, AZ, entered into the presence of her Savior on Thursday, March 10, 2022, after a long illness. She was born on October 15, 1932, in Rothschild, WI, along with her twin sister Marianne to Albert and Emily Guenther during the Great Depression. Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, William Boneck, her parents, Albert and Emily Guenther, three brothers, Robert (Joyce), Donald (Betty), David (Gladys), and twin sister Marianne (Donald). She is survived by her husband, Larry Murphy, two sons, Robert Boneck (Yung) of Goodyear, AZ, Steven Boneck (Mary) of Winneconne, WI, a foster son Norman Pospichal and his family, four grandchildren, Alisha Boneck and Zachary Boneck, of Boise, ID, Shelby Proshuto (Dustin) of Appleton, WI, and Trevor Boneck of Appleton, one great-grandson, Maverick Proshuto, and a sister, Faye Guenther Liddle (Gary) of Springfield, MO.

Beverly graduated from North Central University in Minneapolis. She moved to Tonapah, NV, as a bride when Bill was in the Air Force. She also lived in California and Wisconsin and retired in Apache Junction, AZ. Although small of stature, she is remembered as a giant in her Christian faith. She was active in churches where she lived and was a gifted teacher and leader of women ministries. Her hobbies included quilting, puzzles, reading, and playing piano and guitar. She and Larry sang together often at home and in various places as they traveled with their RV. She had a gift of hospitality. She was a homemaker, a practical nurse, and a property manager. She enjoyed visiting family and friends, especially her boys and their families.

A celebration of Beverly’s life will be held at the Brainard Funeral Home, 5712 Memorial Ct. Weston, WI on Friday, March 18 at 11:00 A.M. The family will receive guests from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Rev. Gary Liddle will officiate. Private burial will take place at Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau.
