Brent R. Cole

Brent Richard Cole, 50, of Wausau, passed away unexpectedly at home on the morning of Thursday, December 19, 2024.

He was born in Wausau, Wisconsin on December 21, 1973, to Richard Arthur Cole and Sharon Dawn Rachu-Cole. He went to DC Everest, playing baseball and was set up to graduate in 1992. 

For over 30 years, Brent truly enjoyed his career in transportation management. Not only in Wisconsin, but years in Colorado and Virginia as well. 

Brent loved his mom and played countless cribbage games, winning their very last cribbage tournament that they were able to play. He was often seen driving her to watch some live music at various venues. 

Brent's father taught him, at a very early age, the art of billiards and cards. Elders would snicker as he ran the table or shot the moon. He could also appreciate a little competition in golfing and bowling. Competitiveness may have ran in his family. When we could fit game nights in, it was always a good time. Not nearly enough game nights… Sayin'. 

Brent to survived by his treasured mother; Sharon Dawn Teige, Wausau, Wisconsin, his assertive sister; Tammy Cole Ballenger, Wausau, Wisconsin; nephew, Levi, D. Ballenger, Stevens Point, Wisconsin; and his niece, Cayli F. Ballenger, Windsor, Colorado. As well as many friends, cousins aunts and uncles. 

Brent is preceded in death by his father Richard Arthur Cole and his stepfather Gerald John Teige. 

We may plan to have a celebration of Brent's life at a later date.
