Caryl Lehman

It is with great sadness that the family of Caryl Lehman announces her unexpected passing. Though we are truly joyful that she is with her husband of 63 years, sister, and parents in heaven. What an awesome reunion! She passed peacefully on Saturday, May 5th at the age of 87, surrounded by her family. We were so blessed to have had her in our lives. She was an amazing woman who taught us so much. She was a straightforward lady who had a kind heart, was full of spunk and determination and always knew how to make us laugh. We are so grateful for the time we got to spend with her and for all of the memories that were made right up until the last moment. She will always have a special place in our hearts. We know this is not goodbye but we'll be seeing you later again one day in heaven. Caryl's numerous activities included volunteering for her church, The Schofield Fish and Game Club, The Lionesses and the VFW. She enjoyed creating beautiful needle work and cross-stitch pieces, yoga, bowling, singing in the church choir, and baking amazing Christmas goodies for friends and family, and helping to raise her grandchildren. She will be forever remembered by her children, Scott Lehman, Lori Zilisch, Lisa Kalmon, and Luanne Lehman; her grandchildren Dan, Mike, Jeremy, Mathew, Steven, Elizabeth, Marlaine, and Garritt; great-grandchildren Chandler, Natalie, Emma, Hunter, Houston and Hayden; and brother, Robert Zastrow. A memorial service will be held Friday May 11, 2018 at 12 noon at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 6312 Old Costa Lane, Weston. Visitation will be held from 10 am until the time of service. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Pastor Andrew Franzo will officiate. The family would also like to send a very special thank you to Rochelle Zilisch, Jeremy's wife, she was her advocate and angel.
