Florence Hoffman

Florence J. Hoffman, of Wausau, age 102, died Monday, December 17, 2018, at Mount View Care Center with her loving family by her side.

Florence was born on July 12, 1916 in Wausau, WI, to the late Harry and Frances (Andrizewski) Bloom.  Florence married Elmer Hoffman in 1940, in Wausau, WI.  Elmer preceded her in death on January 24, 2003.

Florence was well known throughout her life for her great sense of humor.  She was an amazing cook who really enjoyed cooking for her family and friends on Holidays.  Florence had a talent for making Christmas ornaments which she would give out to family and friends.

Florence is survived by her children, Michael Hoffman, Dennis Hoffman and Debbie (John) Boyd; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a sister, Arlene Schilling.  Besides her husband, Florence was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Zietlow and Eleanor Timler.
