George worked for a few local trucking companies including Millers Trucking, driving across the country for over 40 years. He thought he was ready for retirement from Karls Transport of Antigo, when after a short time off the road he decided to drive locally for Straight Shot Trucking, where he finally decided to retire for good and was able to do the things he most enjoyed. He enjoyed hobbies such as gardening, hunting, and fishing. He also loved the time with his family who got together often for a friendly game of cards. George was known and loved by many who lived in his hometown of Mosinee. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. We would like to thank all of the staff at Renaissance Assisted Living and each of the hospice nursing, and nursing assistant staff who were there with the overflowing kindness and devoted time they spent, not only with George, but with his family members. They spent the time listening and delivering his needs, and wishes for George in his last days.
