Herman "Bud" Juedes, 94, of Weston, died on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Rennes Health & Rehab of Weston. Bud was born August 8, 1922 to the late Herman and Anna (Radke) Juedes, Sr. He later met and married Lorraine Radtke on July 19, 1947. Together, they shared 66 years of marriage until her death in 2014. He proudly served our country in WWII in the Army. He was a member of the American Legion Post 10, Wausau. Bud was liked by everyone he met. His willingness to lend a hand to anyone, especially to help them fix something, will always be remembered. Bud loved to fish with his fly rod and could be seen often on the golf course as well. After his retirement from Brokaw Paper Mill, he and Lorraine traveled; most notably taking trips to Arizona and to Europe - bringing home a very special squeezebox. Bud is survived by a brother, Roger Juedes of Brokaw; a sister, Mildred (Jack) Jablonski; his daughter-in-law, Abby Juedes; along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine; his parents; a son, David; brothers, Elmer, Raymond, Edwin, Ralph, and Floyd; and sisters, Esther, Arline, Marion, and Elnore (Mutz). Private family services are being planned for a later date. The family wishes to thank the staff of Rennes Health and Rehab for their kindness, diligence, and compassion shown to Bud over the years. Brainard Funeral Home - Everest Chapel, Weston is assisting the family with arrangements.
