Jack D. Seehafer, 58, of Wausau, passed away at his home on Tuesday, May 23, 2017. Jack was born in Wausau on September 18, 1958 to the late Herbert and Jeanette (Heyer) Seehafer. Although Jack lived a quiet and simple life, he was passionate about the things he enjoyed. Jack was the Adjutant for Wausau Squadron 10 of the Sons of The American Legion. Jack enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter. He was a sports fan; always cheering on the Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin Badgers and Milwaukee Brewers. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. Jack is survived by his sister Robin (Jim) Weiss of Delafield; sister-in-law, Mary Seehafer of Wausau; nieces, Carly Weiss and Marisa (Robbie) Seehafer and his nephews, Jordan and Ben (Kimberly) Hoenisch. Jack is further survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James Seehafer. A memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at St. Paul United Church of Christ, 426 Washington Street, Wausau. The Rev. Philip Schneider will officiate. Visitation will take place from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Entombment will take place at Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau.
