James Anderes

James M. Anderes, of Wausau, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2018 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

Jim was born November 21, 1949 in Wausau to the late Marvin and Dorothy Anderes. He graduated from Wausau High School and enlisted in the United States Airforce in 1969, being honorably discharged as a SSGT in 1973. Jim enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a master mechanic and never met a problem he could not solve when it came to fixing things- small engine or large, he could always figure it out.

James is survived by his brother Roger (Mary) Anderes and sister MaryBeth Sievert; nieces and nephews Tricia (Rich) Byrne, Sarah Ewerdt, Michael Anderes, Jennifer Anderes, and 4 great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Friday, June 22, 2018 at 5:00 pm at Brainard Funeral Home, 522 Adams Street, Wausau with a visitation from 4:00 pm until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Neighbor’s Place.
