Jeffrey Francin peacefully passed away on January 31, 2024, at the age of 71, after a difficult battle with leukemia. Born on May 7, 1952, in Fond du Lac, WI, he was the cherished son of the late Roland and Celayne Francin.
Jeff's unwavering love and devotion to his family, along with his infectious laughter and kind-hearted spirit, will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He is survived by his loving wife, Eileen Francin, who stood alongside him through every triumph and challenge, bringing joy and companionship into his life. He is further survived by his brother, Mike (Cindy) Francin; sister-in-law Kathy (Don) Frank; and wonderful dog, Kimber.
Jeffrey's passion for the outdoors led him to spend many happy hours hunting and honing his golfing skills. Always up for an adventure, he valued the tranquility of nature and the thrill of the game. His love for these activities brought him closer to friends and family, creating lasting memories that will forever be treasured.
After retiring from a successful career as a claims agent at American Family Insurance, Jeff sought out a new venture to fill his days with joy and purpose. He found peace and fulfillment in working at the Pro Shop of Greenwood Hills Country Club, where he greeted each golfer with warmth and enthusiasm.
A celebration of Jeffrey's life will take place on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at 12:00 pm at Highland Community Church, 1005 N 28th Avenue, Wausau, WI 54401. Friends and family are invited to join together in sharing stories and memories at the visitation beginning at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made in Jeffrey's name to Hope Pregnancy Resource Center, Tunnel to Towers, Lincoln County Humane Society, or Pro-Life Action Ministries, 1163 Payne Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55130.
