Joy D. Foth

Joy Goetsch Foth, 89, of Wausau, WI. left this world to be with her Heavenly Father on July 27, 2024. She was a graduate of Wausau High School, and married Norman Foth in June of 1955. She worked many years at K-Mart, then at Eastbay before retiring. She enjoyed gardening, embroidery, camping, snowmobiling, and traveling. She brought the family together for numerous family occasions and Holidays. Hosting Christmas gatherings was a tradition for her and she enjoyed making them special for her grandchildren. Having great grandchildren was something of which she felt very proud. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman, her parents, Gilbert & Ethel Goetsch, brother Ronald Goetsch, and brother-in-law, Greg Schmidt. Joy is survived by her three sons, Dean (Debra) Foth, Mark (Amy) Foth, and Darren (Michelle) Foth, She has eight grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her sister, Carrie Schmidt, and many nieces & nephews.

Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Brainard Funeral Home Weston Chapel (5712 Memorial Ct, Weston, WI 54476) Pastor Mary Jo Laabs will officiate. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024 from 10:00 AM until the hour of service at Brainard Funeral Home Weston Chapel. Burial will be held at Restlawn at a later date.
