Judith & Eugene Wesolowski Service

A memorial service for both Judith and Eugene will be held on October 19, 2024, at 11:00 am at St Florian’s Catholic Church in Hatley WI, with visitation starting at 10:00 am.

The last year Judith battled many infections and fought until the very last moment to come home, until her heart could not take anymore, and she passed peacefully on Friday, July 26, 2024. She was born on November 23, 1946, in Stevens Point, Wisconsin to Bernard and Emily Ostrowski. They lived in Shantytown, Wisconsin for 4 years before moving to a farm in 1950. Judith attended St. Florian’s Catholic School and then graduated from Wittenberg High School. 

In 1962, she married Eugene Wesolowski at St. Florian’s Catholic Church. Judith and Eugene worked hard on their farm and raised their three children. Later in life, she worked at Shopko, Maple Hill Credit Union, and Marshfield Clinic until she retired. During her mid to later years of life, she was involved in St. Florian’s Church Choir; as well as helping with the church picnic. Judith enjoyed her flower and vegetable gardens, especially the cucumbers and peas. Judith was dedicated to her children, grandchildren and pets. She loved her animals; especially Mittens her cat, Smokey and Patches her two dogs. She found great joy and happiness in spending time with her family. 

She is survived by her loving children; Allen Wesolowski, Bryan (Renae) Wesolowski, and Tanya Wesolowski Smith (Matt); grandchildren Angie (Chris) Rice and Ben (Ashley) Wesolowski and great-grandchildren Ezra and Ivy. She is further survived by her brother Barry Ostrowski and sister-in-law Karen Ostrowski as well as nieces and nephews. 

She is preceded in death by her husband Eugene, parents Bernard and Emily Ostrowski, in-laws Joe and Pauline Wesolowski, her brother Roy Ostrowski and sister-in-law Mickey Ostrowski.
