Landon Laffin, devoted husband, wonderful son, loving father, caring brother, loyal friend, and good neighbor, died unexpectedly on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at the age of 57.
He is survived by his wife Janet, son Jeremy (Sueann) and grandsons Noah, Cade, and Nash; sons Landon (Robyn), Don, and Matthew; brothers Lance (Charlene), Luke (Helen), and sisters Lori (Ted) Albright, and Kristine (Ron) Hollingsworth. He was a loving son to Eunice (Dick) Schultz and a much-loved uncle to his many nieces and nephews.
Landon had many interests and accomplished much in his brief life. He loved his job and all of the people he worked with, especially BK, at the Aspirus YMCA. He was a faithful elder at Downtown Mission Church in Wausau, where he leaves behind many that he served and loved. He was passionate about all of his interests, but his greatest passion was spreading the message of hope and the promise of Eternal Life found simply by trusting Jesus Christ and His gift of Salvation to all who believe.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 15 at Highland Community Church, 1005 North 28th Avenue, Wausau from 12:30 to 3:00 pm. The memorial service will follow at Highland at 3:00 pm. After the service, friends are invited to gather at Downtown Mission Church, 310 North 4th Street, Wausau for a meal and a time of remembrance.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be directed to Prison Fellowship--Angel Tree.
