Lorraine Gould

Lorraine (Boots) Gould, age 100 passed away March 18, 2025 at Sylvan Crossing's on Evergreen with her family at her side.

Lorraine was born in Wausau on October 11, 1924 to the late Henry and Rose Haller.

Lorraine married William Gould on September 8, 1947. Lorraine loved being a homemaker and raising her 5 children. Her life revolved around her family. Lorraine loved to cook and bake. There was never a time when there was not a sweet desert in the house. She loved her sweets. She kept an immaculate house in spite of 5 kids messing it up at all times. She was a wonderful mother with a soft spoken laugh that was contagious. Lorraine was a life long member of St. Anne's church of Wausau and made sure we were at church every Sunday. You will be missed- We were blessed to have you in our lives.

Survivors include her 5 children; daughter Mary (Jim) Treu of Hazelhurst, Sons William (Mary) of Green Bay, Patrick (Lynn) of Wausau, Thomas (Janey) of Wausau and James (Sue) of Wausau. She had 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Rose Haller, husband William and two sisters, Evelyn Baldwin and Hazel Luetschwager.

Funeral services will be held on April 2, 2025 at Restlawn Memorial Chapel, Wausau. Visitation will be held at 10:00 am with a prayer service at 11:00 am.

The family would like to offer a special thank you to the staff at Sylvan Crossing's and Aspirus Hospice for taking such good care of Lorraine. We know she loved you all.
