Megan Marth

Megan Eileen Marth, 56, of Merrill, passed away unexpectedly Friday, December 15, 2017 at her home. Megan was born in Merrill to the late Daniel and Jane (Thompson) McCarthy on February 19, 1961. She graduated from Merrill High School. Megan married Ken Marth on December 14, 1983. Megan is survived by her husband Ken; her faithful dachshund, Trixie; her brothers, Chris (Kit) McCarthy of Tomahawk and Erin McCarthy of Merrill; her sisters, Maureen (John Sr) Heck of Wausau; sister-in-law, Kay (Dave) Bychinski; brother-in-law Terry (Sue) Marth as well as her nephews, Kris and Nick Laffin of Wausau. Megan is further survived by her step nephew, John (Cortney) Heck Jr and their children as well as many extended family and friends. Besides her parents, Megan was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Al Marth. Megan selflessly donated her eyes to the Lions Bank. A celebration of Megan's life will take place at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family.
