Michael T. Myers, 58, of Wausau, entered his heavenly home on June 19th, 2018 surrounded by his family.
Michael was born in Milwaukee, WI to Leroy and Mary (Sumter) Myers. Michael attended Merrill High School. Michael worked for 32 years as a frost and heat insulator for the Local 19 and 127. Michael was a member of the International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Allied Workers. On February 19th, 1996 Michael married the love of his life Diane Dahlke. Michael enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling, four wheeling, ice fishing, water skiing (he could slalom ski), riding his Harley, dancing, helping with sound management for his wife’s musical groups and going on adventures with his best friend/wife.
Survivors include his soul mate Diane, son Timothy (Jessie), step daughter Angela Jehn (Joshua), brothers Mark (Jerilynn), Micky (Trish), Mitch (Jolene), Myron (Tia) Myers, one sister Tammy (Don) Hupf, mother in law Dolores Dahlke, sister in laws Beverly (Greg) Smith, Lori (Rand) Zoborowski, Renee (Todd) Swansby, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and father in law Harold Dahlke.
A private celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank Dr. Christopher Peterson at The Aspirus Cancer Center and Dr. Amit Mahipal at The Mayo Clinic, the nursing staff at the Aspirus Cancer Center (especially Ann and Britta) and nurses Amy and Marty on the Aspirus oncology floor for their extremely compassionate care.
