Michelle Gering

Michelle Lynn Gering, 35, Wausau, died Friday, October 26, 2018 at her home in Wausau.

Michelle was born on December 11, 1982 to Doug and Darlene (Berndt) Gering. She was a 2004 graduate from D.C. Everest.

Michelle loved going for walks, traveling in the car and meeting new people; her smile and great sense of humor were noticed by everyone she met. She loved little children and developed special bonds with all her caregivers throughout her lifetime. She touched many lives, and will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.

Besides her parents Doug and Darlene; she is survived by her sister, Becky (Travis) Hoerman; one niece Rylie Hoerman; and numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 6205 Alderson Street, Schofield, WI 54476.  Pastor Lance Hoelscher will officiate.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.  Burial will follow the service at Forestville Cemetery.  Brainard Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.  Online condolences may be made at www.brainardfuneral.com
