Paul Kernosky

September 3, 1963 — June 17, 2017

Paul Joseph Kernosky, 53, of De Pere, died unexpectedly at his home from an unknown medical complication, on Saturday, June 17, 2017. He was born in Ironwood, Michigan on September 3, 1963 to James and Marilyn (Rock) Kernosky. He shares this day with his twin brother, Peter. After graduating from Wausau East High School in 1982, Paul went on to get a degree in Diesel and Heavy Equipment Mechanics from Mid State Technical College. He has worked as a milk sales representative for Golden Guernsey Dairy, Morning Glory Dairy, and Dean Foods. He also worked for, and enjoyed, working part-time for WFRV-TV in Green Bay as a floor director for the Sunday Morning News. Paul enjoyed spending time in Arizona, especially on his yearly NASCAR trip with his closest friends. He also enjoyed watching the Packers and running utilities for FOX and ESPN on the sidelines. More recently, Paul has been spending time working on his Jeep Wrangler, wanting to make it look 'bad-ass' with lifts and tires. Paul is remembered for being always willing to help in any way to anyone. Most important to Paul was his family and close friends. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him. Paul is survived by his sons, Joshua "Chuck" Kernosky (Avonlea Brannon), Milwaukee; Ryan Kernosky, Minneapolis, MN; Eric Kernosky, Wausau; father, James Kernosky, Wausau; twin brother, Peter (Marijane Schroeder) Kernosky, Wausau; sister, Ann (Ted) Schwieger, Cottage Grove, MN and his significant other, Michelle Mann, Green Bay. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn Kernosky and his aunts and uncles: Raymond, Gordon, Joe, Joreen, and Ruth. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at 6:00 pm with a time of sharing at 7:00 pm at Brainard Funeral Home, 522 Adams Street, Wausau 54403.
