Paul Carl Knaack, age 75, passed away on November 14, 2024.
Paul was born in Wausau, WI to Carl A. Knaack and Alice Knaack. Paul was the 2nd of 7 siblings, and the oldest brother. He graduated from Wausau High School, after which he served in the Marine Corps as a Court Reporter for the JAG during the Vietnam War. He attained the rank of E5 Sergeant and was Honorably Discharged. Paul lived in the Village of Maine area for his entire life, being a proud Village Person. He worked as a Relocation Engineer, a Farmer, a Syrup Baron, and a Logger for much of his life.
Paul never married, but he was still a role model to his siblings, nephews and nieces, and countless family friends. He ran his race well. He was preceded in death by Carl A. Knaack (Father), Alice Knaack (Mother), Mark Knaack (Brother), and Carla Knaack (Sister). He leaves behind Thomas Knaack (Brother), Kay Andrews (Sister), John Knaack (Brother), Carol Gresch (Sister), Kaleriya Knaack (Sister-in-Law), Al Andrews (Brother-in-Law), Hannah Knaack (Sister-in-Law), Bill Gresch (Brother-in-Law), Carl T. Knaack (Nephew), Stephanie Andrews (Niece), Christina Andrews (Niece), Brett Andrews (Nephew), Matthew Knaack (Nephew), Sarah Knaack (Niece), Andrew Knaack (Nephew), Crystal Sims-Knaack (Niece), David Gresch (Nephew), Dan Gresch (Nephew), Michael Gresch (Nephew), Patrick Gresch (Nephew), and many other friends and family.
A private service will be held at a later date.
