Robb Ray Wruck, 42, of Rib Mountain, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, November 23, 2017. Robb was born in Wausau on February 14, 1975 to Dennis (Lana) Wruck and the late Bonnie nee Buchburger Wruck Robb owned and ran his own construction company, "Robb Wruck Construction." Robb was a talented carpenter with a good eye for detail and a vision of the final product. His clients appreciated his work ethic and knew he would be honest and treat them fairly. Robb was a man of many talents and loved living life on the edge. He was a consummate show skier, remembered for his daring and amazing tricks (the "Wruckus"), his showmanship and love of the crowd. He was a member of Wausaqua (Wausau), Tommy Bartletts (Wisconsin Dells), Aqua Skier (Wisconsin Rapids), Kwahamot Water Ski Team (Tomahawk), Plum Skiters (Sayner), Sea World of Texas and San Diego with Water Ski Inc; which also included Germany and Holland. He skied in India for H2O Productions and with team USA in China. Robb received countless awards and accolades for his skiing. Robb was also a ski and snowboard instructor, enjoying time in Park City, Utah and an AASI examiner. Robb was a popular race car driver, and known for his back flips off the car whenever he won a race. In Robb's younger days he was a "crazy good" bowler. There wasn't a sport he couldn't master. He is survived by Ellie Wruck; son, Kyler (Talin Walker); granddaughter, McKinnley; father, Dennis (Lana); brother, Jody (Nikki); sister, Jackie Spahr; step-sister, Heather (Ernie) Koeppel and step-brother, Adam (Debbie) Resch. Funeral services will take place at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, 3200 N. Mountain Rd, Wausau. The Rev. Craig Swenson will officiate. Visitation will take place from 10:00 am until the time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family to set up a trust fund for Robb's granddaughter, McKinnley.
