Roberta Vinger

Roberta Ann Vinger, 72, passed away on February 1, 2018 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Roberta was born on February 22, 1945 in Waukesha, WI, to the late Elmer and Harriet (Grube) Schmidt. She married Karl Vinger on November 12, 1966 in Sussex, WI. Roberta was an avid flower gardener and loved worshiping at the Church of God in Wausau. She is survived by her husband, Karl; brother Ross (Mary) Schmidt; daughter-in-law Melissa Vinger; grandchildren Alexis, Sierra, and Cody Vinger and Jade, Neveah, and Levi Forester; great-grandsons Decklin and Drake Buitron; along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, James Vinger. Private memorial services are being held at a later date. Brainard Funeral Home - Wausau Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. The family wishes to thank the nurses and hospice staff at Aspirus Wausau Hospital for their care to Roberta in her final days.
