Ruth Belke

Ruth Belke, 97 of Wausau, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2018. Ruth was born August 20, 1920 in Wausau, WI, the daughter of Magda and Alfred Netz. Ruth was a glove buyer for Winkleman's Department Store and later, a homemaker and beloved wife and mother. She enjoyed entertaining both her family and friends. Survivors include two sons, David (Martha) Belke, Thomas Belke, and daughter Mary Belke. Ruth is also survived by her loving sister Bernice Cross, nephew, John (Louise) Cross, and their daughters, Christina and Victoria. Ruth leaves behind two very special friends, Judy Rosemurgy and Monica Wilde of Wausau. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Paul Belke after 57 wonderful years of marriage. Many thanks to the staff at Sylvan Crossings on Evergreen Dr, Dr. Ivan Schaller, and Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services. In respect to Ruth's wishes there will be no visitation. Ruth will be laid to rest at Memorial Chapel Mausoleum at Restlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services, 333 Pine Ridge Blvd, Wausau, WI 54401.
