Sally Erdmann

Sally Erdmann, (nee Silverman), a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother was born to eternal life on December 30, 2024 at the age of 83.

Sally was born in Stevens Point, WI to Earl Silverman and Ida Silverman (nee Kalisky). Sally met her husband Jack while attending the University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point. Jack and Sally were married on July 14, 1962 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Stevens Point, Wisconsin.

Sally leaves behind her devoted husband, Jack Erdmann of Wausau, 4 daughters, Lisa (Ken) Dobbs of Brookfield, WI, Julie (Anthony) Preman of Brookfield, WI, Beth (William) Knighton of Wausau, WI, and Maria (Carlos) Rodriguez of Glendale, WI. Loving grandmother to Greg (Sara), Camille, Andrew, Aaron, Austin (Brianna), Christopher, Abigail, and Gabriela. She is further survived by eight great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents Earl Silverman and Ida Silverman, and by her brother David.

Sally had a generous heart and loved giving back to others. After her children were in school, Sally volunteered in the John Marshall Elementary School library and worked as a volunteer at the Wausau YWCA nursery program. She was deeply involved in the Marriage Encounter program and served as a team couple for 25 years, both as a team leader and president for the LaCrosse Diocese. She conducted workshops for married couples across the state and at the national convention in Dayton, Ohio. Through her community work, she made a positive and lasting impact on countless lives.

Sally was known for her warmth, kindness, faith and unwavering love for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Memorial Mass will be held on Friday January 17, 2025 at 11:30 AM at St. Marks Catholic Church (602 Military Rd, Rothschild, WI 54474) Fr. Allen Slowiak will officiate. Visitation will be held on Friday January 17, 2025 from 10:30 am until the hour of Service at the church.

Sally's favorite charities were the American Heart Association and Habitat for Humanity.
