Sally A. Wagner, 80 of Weston, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Rennes Health and Rehab of Weston. She was born on September 30, 1937 in Wausau, daughter of the late Rudolph and Edna (Kaatz) Priebe. On October 24, 1959 she married Edward "Bill" Wagner at Trinity Lutheran Church, Wausau. He preceded her in death in 2012. Sally and Bill were founding members of Redeemer Ev. Lutheran Church in Weston, where she was a Sunday School teacher, active altar guild member, and sang in the choir. Sally enjoyed cooking and time spent with her family and grandchildren. She was also a loyal and avid Packer fan, attending games at Lambeau Field for many years with her husband and friends. Survivors include her three daughters, Susan (Corey) Sandquist of Wausau, Julie Wagner (special friend Jeff Mientke) of Weston, and Wendy Brophy (David Rodman) of Wausau; four grandchildren, Brandon Brophy, Sarah (Austin) Baar, and Melissa and Matthew Sandquist; and a sister, Geraldine Weber of Wausau. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two sisters, Joyce Steppert and Rosemary Dumdei. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Redeemer Evangelical Church, 6404 Old Costa Ln., Weston. Rev. Andrew Franzo will officiate. Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Redeemer Ev. Lutheran Church. Brainard Funeral Home - Everest Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
