Sharon Tesch

Sharon Lynn Tesch, of Weston, passed away at the young age of 61 on January 24, 2022, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

Sharon was born December 18, 1960, in Wausau to parents Franklin and Delores (Viergutz) Prochnow.

Sharon married the love of her life, Randy Tesch, on October 1, 1977, at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Wausau. She worked in adult daycare at the healthcare center as a CNA for over 20 years. She enjoyed being outside and camping with family. Every Friday, Sharon and Randy would go out for a fish fry and enjoy an old fashioned. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family and especially loved her grandchildren and great granddaughter. She even had a soft spot for the dogs, Buddy and Gizmo.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 45 years, Randy Tesch; children Joey (Jill) Tesch, Adam (Dana) Tesch, and Amanda (Erik) Windorski; grandchildren DaKota (Kirstin), Isaac, Abby, Amy, Hailey, and Vivian; great granddaughter Aubreigh; siblings Sandy (Jim) Riehle and Mike (Shelly) Prochnow; and many extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4pm – 6pm on Thursday, February 3, 2022, at Brainard Funeral Home- Everest Chapel, 5712 Memorial Court, Weston. A celebration of Sharon’s life will take place at 11am on Friday, February 4, 2022, at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 6205 Alderson Street, Weston. Visitation will begin at 9am until the time of service.
