Shirley Eggersgluess

Shirley M. Eggersgluess, 80, of Weston, passed away on Friday, September 29, 2017 at Ascension St. Clare's Hospital in Weston. She was born in the Town of Colby to the late William and Irene (Dittmyer) Theilig, where she also met and married the love of her life. Shirley and Erwin were married on June 4, 1960. He preceded her in death on September 8, 2011. Shirley enjoyed playing cards and traveling but most important to Shirley was spending time with her family. Shirley is survived by her son, Brian and her granddaughters, Ann (Jay) and Tabitha (Thao); as well as her sisters, Donna (Dale) Geiger, Marcia (Dale) Gerbert and Darlene Dehn. Beside her husband and parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her daughter, Laurie Ann; brothers, Carl (Lorna), Donald and William Jr. Theilig; an infant brother and an infant sister; and her brother-in-law, Wilbur Dehn. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 1351 Grand Ave, Schofield. Reverend Mahnke will officiate. A visitation will take place from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, October 6, 2017 at Brainard Funeral Home-Everest Chapel, 5712 Memorial Court, Weston and again on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
