Vera K. Abraham

Vera K Abraham of Wausau died Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at the age of 102 and 9 months. She was born April 15, 1922 to William C. and Sarah (Trantow) Kittel. She married William F. Abraham December 19, 1942 in Wausau.   

Survivors include daughter Jill (Larry) Taylor, Wausau, and son Tim (Jane) Abraham, Eau Claire. Five grandchildren: Erin (Joe) Miller, Rice Lake; David Taylor, Wausau; Nicholas  (Sarah) Abraham, Minneapolis; Samantha Abraham, Minneapolis; Alexandra Abraham, Burnsville, MN. Great-grandchildren include Lydia, Wes, and Mara. 

Vera was preceded in death by husband William and daughter Sandra Kay; son-in-law Larry Taylor; brother Lawrence Kittel, and sisters Alice Lawrence, Edna Grosnick, Marianne Lavella, Beatrice Jesse, and Jeanette Zanio.  

She was a member of Wisconsin Valley Shrine Auxiliary – order of Eastern Star and attended Grace United Church of Christ where she taught Sunday School and Bible School. She enjoyed camping, reading, bowling, golfing and was very active in many forms of crafting.   

Services will be on Tuesday, February 4 at 11:30 a.m. at Grace United Church of Christ, 535 S. 3rd Ave, Wausau with Visitation beginning at 10 a.m.
