William Rietz

William “Bill” Rietz passed away in his sleep on Friday, September 14th, at Colonial Manor in Wausau. Bill was born July 28th, 1954 in Wausau and spent his life in the area. He was happily married to Darlene Rossenbach and spent his free time enjoying rides on his motorcycle. He also loved spending time with his dog Louie and could be found people watching in random restaurants as a way to pass time.

Bill is survived by; his daughter Rebecca Schmidt, son Bruce Rietz and daughter in law Alyssa Rietz, his sisters Cindy Rietz, Linda Buss, Peggy Manowski and their families. His extended families include LeDuc and Rossenbach. He had touched the hearts and brought a smile to the faces of his family and anyone he met.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 21, 2018 at Peace United Church of Christ, 1530 Grand Avenue, Schofield. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
