Yvonne Krienke

Yvonne B. Krienke, 94, of Wausau, died peacefully at Wausau Manor on Thursday, August 23, 2018.

Yvonne was born November 29, 1923 in Gary, Indiana to the late George and Mary (Novak) Kepshire. She married Frederick J. Krienke on January 31, 1948 Gary Indiana. Yvonne was a loving wife and mother.  She enjoyed singing, and did so in St. Annes choir for many years. She was active in Catholic Daughters of
America, Catholic Order of Foresters, UA Local 434 spouse retirees, and the Bear Lake Association. Yvonne and Fred spent many happy retirement years living at their cottage on Bear Lake, Hazelhurst, and wintering in Florida.

Yvonne is survived by children John, Kathleen,  Karen (Geoffrey) Schnelle, Michael (Patrice) Krienke, and Paul (Sarah Hart) Krienke; grandchildren Tiffany (Matt) Weckwerth, Rebecca Schnelle, Amy Schnelle, and David (Sarah) Krienke; and great-grandchildren Jake, Brett and Lucas Weckwerth. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and siblings Mary Ellen Nixon, Gertrude Jarosak, George Kepshire, Bernard Kepshire and John Kepshire.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 12 noon at Brainard Funeral Home, 522 Adams Street, Wausau preceded by a visitation from 10:30 am until the time of service.
